Sharon Fareso

Senior Sleep Therapist | National Sleep Therapy

Hello, my name is Sharon. I am a Sleep Therapist and the Director of National Sleep Therapy.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about the services I provide.

I am passionate about helping people achieve better sleep, improved health, and a better quality of life through comprehensive sleep assessments, education, and ongoing support. I believe good sleep is the foundation of good health, and I feel privileged to assist patients on their journey towards feeling more rested, healthier, and happier.

My goal is to provide personalised care and guidance, helping each patient find the most effective solution for their individual sleep needs.

Through National Sleep Diagnostics, I provide convenient Home-Based Sleep Studies, allowing patients to complete comprehensive sleep assessments in the comfort of their own homes. My services include Portable, Level 2 Home Sleep Studies, along with education, support, and the supply of CPAP equipment for patients diagnosed with Sleep Apnoea.

I believe that ongoing support is just as important as diagnosis. For this reason, I provide regular six-month follow-up appointments, as well as CPAP Compliance and Therapy Reviews for existing CPAP users who may benefit from additional guidance and support.

I have worked as a Sleep Therapist for more than ten years and have been fortunate to be part of some wonderful teams throughout my career. During this time, I have helped establish several sleep clinics and spent five years working with ResSleep at both Murdoch and The Mount Hospital. I was honoured to receive two Pride of Workmanship Awards in recognition of my commitment to patient care and service excellence.

One of my clinical case studies involving Adaptive Servo-Ventilation (ASV) therapy for Complex Sleep Apnoea was published in an American Medical Journal, demonstrating significant improvements in quality of life, blood pressure, and depression outcomes.

Throughout my career, I have also worked closely with Indigenous communities and completed Cultural Safety Training through the Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia in 2013. Providing respectful, compassionate, and patient-centred care to people from all backgrounds remains a core value of my practice.

I currently consult on Mondays and Wednesdays within the beautiful Breathing Space clinic in Fremantle and on Thursdays and Fridays from my Gosnells clinics. Whether you are concerned about your own sleep health or have been referred by your doctor, I would be delighted to help guide you through the process and discuss the most suitable options for your individual needs.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this introduction. I look forward to the opportunity to support you in achieving better sleep and improved wellbeing.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like further information.
