Laura Montes

Senior Remedial Massage Therapist

Massage therapy has been part of my life since I was 18. What began as a fascination with the body gradually became the work I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to - and, more than 15 years later, it still feels deeply meaningful to me.

My approach has been shaped by far more than massage alone. I have a background in osteopathic studies in Spain, which gave me a deeper understanding of structure, movement, compensation and the way different areas of the body influence one another.

Over the years, I have also worked alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors and naturopaths, as well as in luxury spa environments in Barcelona and Australia. Moving between clinical and wellness settings taught me something important: effective bodywork does not have to choose between expertise and care. It can hold both.

For me, each treatment is a form of meditation. When I work, I am fully present - observing, listening with my hands and continuously adapting to the person in front of me.

No two sessions are the same because no two people arrive needing the same thing.

Sometimes the body needs precision, strength and focused therapeutic work. Sometimes it needs softness, stillness and permission to let go. Often, it needs both.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of being part of important turning points in many people's wellbeing - helping someone move with less pain, reconnect with their body, release long-held tension, or simply experience what it feels like to stop and be genuinely cared for.

There is space for expression in my treatment room. Space to talk, to be quiet, to breathe, to release, to laugh, to feel, or simply to receive.

My work brings together experience, therapeutic knowledge, intuition, strength and care.
